"seno"

The self portrait that was to become the woman, "seno", was sculpted in clay and cast in plaster in 1999. All but the face of the figure was destroyed in casting but was rebuilt into something more. Layers or parging plaster were built by hand and each was painted with slightly tinted shellac to seal it.
